Purifying fire is actually modified and renamed Dark flame. I merged the effects of these two cards. The idea behind dark flame was to clean your hand anyway.
If it's a new name, a new effect, and a new graphic, why not just make it a new card and leave Dark Flame as it was? Some of us are rather fond of that card (and waiting for it to return to its days of former glory - now wouldn't be a bad time to make it able to draw rares again, now that the quick common nerf has made zero-cost commons a lot less appealing).

How about I add stock: -N where N = #replaced cards as additional cost. Also, it would only effect opponent's hand.
I like that idea less. I prefer the original: a powerful card, but one that's most useful in a very specific (and somewhat weak) deck type, and which must be used cautiously to avoid gimping yourself.
