I'd prefer it to have a lower cost though. It's too expensive, considering it's a legend and has the potential of discarding useful cards and replacing them with commons, and can only do 14 dmg max

I don't think it's too expensive as you're likely increasing a decent number of facilities through the Legend and Mage keywords. A Legend that effectively stays on hand can be a powerful thing.

True, but it can discard the rare cards in hand, that way you can only increase gems my Mage keyword which will get activated every 3-4 turns or so.

As long as you have a Rare that doesn't have the Mage keyword, though, you can be certain of keeping a Rare in hand. With seven Common Mages available for your deck, you have close to a 50% chance of drawing another Mage to keep the effect going. I'll acknowledge that the number of Mages in your hand is likely going to decrease and slow Mage token gains, but I still see this as an excellent way to gain facilities while laying on a decent offensive.

I've raised the enduring damage to 8. Now it does 8+8 damages and it cost 8 gems (funny).
The idea of the card is that Myr is a mage that drains other mages magic.
He's a cool bastard.

and... 4 is half of 8.

and... gems are the second resource in the game
