Do you really think someone will include this card in a deck?
the malus is too much.
maybe something like tower -15 wall, -20 is better.

Maybe he had in mind to gain the Survivor award, but i'd suggest to make this a Quick card if that's what you want

Survivor Award or not, this would probably just end up decreasing your gained experience when you win on the next turn since you're only likely to have a minor victory as a result. Not worth it.

The only other time it would be useful is if you're at low wall and tower anyway and can survive the next round to then play something expensive. In this case, it's not Arrogance being demonstrated but Panic.

Major achievement award is 75%. Survivor is 90%.

In most end game scenarios, you won't qualify for major anyway. Even if you play really well, without a lot of luck you'll only qualify for the 25% minor victory bonus. If you know for a fact that you can win on the following turn even with 1 tower, this card will allow a 90% experience bonus, which is MUCH stronger than a minor victory.

You have to be a really arrogant player to put this card in your deck. But I think there are a few players who might play it in their decks, just in case.

I get the 75% frequently enough with the right deck matchups.

I didn't realize that Survivor was a final bonus in place of Major. I thought it was a standalone award. My mistake, then.

It's not in place of; it's in addition to. So if you can consistently get major bonus, then this maybe isn't a good card for you.

But I only get major when I'm both playing well AND I'm lucky. In my experience, I can only count on getting a minor victory with any regularity.

it would be more fitting as a finisher card in a resource generation deck? but its total crap now, you should make it so that it can give around 100 resources. Just my opinion thou

Yeah, considering that they are, in fact, separate, this would be a huge boon to resource accumulation experience. Also, really difficult for the opponent to prevent you from using to that effect. You would never have that moment of weakness that this card seems to be meant to provide.

Just to clarify things on this:

Although the major victory award and the survivor bonus are technically separate, they cannot be won simultaneously. If you WOULD win a major victory, and you played this card before winning, you would then get only a tactical victory + survivor award. These do not stack because getting survivor causes you to lose major victory.

Thus the only good use is if you were only getting a minor or tactical victory anyway, and used this card to get a survivor award instead.

Please note that the card itself cannot be too powerful, like gaining 100 resources in one turn or having the quick keyword. If so, you lose the one turn of vulnerability the card requires in payment of trying to get a survivor award.

i didn't know anyone played for experience? and maybe its just me but i don't think the game should be balanced in any way around awards.

Resource accumulation, unlike the other two victory types, is not at all dependent on tower comparison in its calculation of major/minor/tactical, and this card would be an excellent one to play toward that goal even without taking Survivor into consideration.

Note that to achieve Major victory you need to satisfy Major victory condition for all victory types if you are the winner. Because of that Survivor award is achievable only with Tactical victory. This is the reason why the experience bonus is so large for this award.
