No effect if none found.
No fetching for no-keyword cards? Pity :-p

I'd reword "Next card will have keyword matching a keyword of last card" to "Next card will share a keyword with last card"
This would currently give a 50% chance of drawing Phoenix after playing (or discarding) Wildfire gem, if I understand correctly.

Rather than reword, I think I'd rather rescind the card idea completely. I hadn't even thought of using it to summon phoenix.
In order to be fair for flareattack/legend, the cost would need to be raised. But that rise in cost would make it unplayable when summoning more common keywords. I just don't see how this idea can be salvaged while keeping the card both fair and playable.

How about summons a card with the most common keyword in hand? With ties being resolved randomly
That would make it more difficult to get those rare summons.

I suggest:
"Summons a random non-rare card with a random keyword from previous played card"
The wording by itself suggests that if there is no keyword, then the next card will be a nonrare keywordless card.
Also by involving the non-rare parameter, there is no chance of summoning powerful Dragons without Dragon Egg or pure drawing luck, also no chance of summoning phoenix without phoenix feather or pure drawing luck.
In addition, it balances the card for its rarity and cost but still allows it to be quite useful, especially in decks that use Legends, Charge, Nature, Mage, Titan, Soldier, Illusion and Restoration

Lord Ornlu's fix is excellent. The fact that it now also summons non-keyword cards should make Progressor happy. And the non-rare part definitely makes it fair.
I'm not sure how many people would take it in their decks now that it can't get them a rare, but I think the new version is definitely more playable than many other currently implemented commons.
