in this game I beat sol in 9 turns but the assasin award was not given. I don't mind about the XP but if this is a bug, I thought I should report it

Yes, it's a bug, thanks for reporting. However it has already been reported (it also effects gentle touch award) and fixed (https://trac.netvor.sk/arcomage/changeset/980). Changes will be applied soon.
