I can remember, there was a likely idea, just with the difference, that he or she wanted nationality Fractions (or something like that, I can't remember exactly). Mojko meant it would danger the whole peaceful atmosphere in the forum and in the game and I have to agree!
But that's not a matter, why there are no Clans/Guilds or Factions, I don't know if someone wants that, but I think it would be really interesting, especial with the Team-games…
There's just one thing, which destroys the idea a bit: The number of players; it does not make really sense, if there are so less players... (I don't know the number of active players)

I think there's about 30-40 ppl who are always active and another 20-30 ppl who log in now and then and there's always averagely 10 people online.

a clan would not be very good idea, since it's gonna be always 3-4 ppl in each one and furthermore, how could someone divide clans or make standard teams?? I think it will cause disputes

Yeah, I think that, at this point, the MArcomage community is small enough that there's no reason to divide ourselves into factions of any sort. We're one big family :P

Not that I've ever been a clan/guild-person, but I really don't see the point in MArcomage. The only games that made me want a clan enough to be in one seriously was Natural Selection (Half-Life mod), and that's because that game required good teamplay, and it sucked when people left games halfway in.

I think this is a pure 1v1 kinda deal. Just like chess.
