What kind of deck is most powerful or most sucessful for u in longmode and shortmode?.
Game mode definately changes deck and building it. While towerkill can be very sucessful in shortmode it isnt so effective in longmode.

For me it seems beast deck is overall good.
Towerbuilding decks really shine in shortmode.
Burning decks needs some buff, fun to play but not very realiable.
Undead deck seems balanced.
Brigand deck, seems most powerful currently works in both game modes. Only problem is that it gets boring quick for oponent to discard cards.
Holy decks. Really fast resource gathering.
Barbarian decks so recruit dependent.
Mage havent played it much, fun but not really good win rate.

In short hidden mode rush deck is the best. But not funny at all, if you want to have a chance against them you have to use a rush deck too and it's quite a boring match.
Tower building decks are powerful too and more funny since you can combine it with some keyword deck.
let's see... I have 5 tower building decks: Ivory tower (holy based), Sapphire tower(mage based), Onyx tower (brigand based), Carbon tower (runic based), Diamond tower (no keyword). they all need a different playstyle; they have all good statistics but Carbon tower. I will probably create a Lapislazuli tower (aqua based).

Another good deck is the one based on Pyramids (Dindon's one is pretty good, mine have 50% victory). I think that it probably needs some nerfing (mainly in wishing lagoon), it has good potential to be overpowered, expecially in short mode.

A really owerful deck in long mode is holy with big rares. I wonder why nobody talks about nerfing fairy.

About beast, yes it's good. my beast deck have a 2:1 wins/loss ratio but I think the one NG Beholder uses is even better.

Mage decks are really funny and quite powerful. I don't use unicorns 'cause I think they're op, but they can give a really good attack power to mages.

There are other interesting decks but the one I love the most is my zero-cost accumulation deck (93 wins 51 losses). really powerful in long mode but usable also in short. absolutely weak in hidden mode. It's weak against Tower building decks but if you draw return to the beginning you are almost invincible since you can clone it with halfing rogue. If you want to try it.

It's not Fairy's problem. It's stock+ cards overall, which are desperately need to be nerfed. I'd say, severely nerfed.
Every Restoration trigger gives 10 resources to you - it's like doubled standard production in terms of net gain. Considering the fact that most Restorations are self-paying - why do you need those +1 to facilities, except getting Carpenter award?

No, both my Beast decks - rush (1.55) and generic (1.45) - aren't as good in terms of win/loss ratio as my Nature (2.04), Undead (2.27) and Holy/Soldier (2.52). That's mostly because of Holy with crapton of rare oneshots (hello, Glizorkulblorkul) - Beasts are still very Frenzy-reliant to pressure and kill opponent fast enough. Plus it's hard to play against Brigand - too much stock stealing.
But yes, I love to play Beasts now with all these new and reworked commons.

Mages need these unicorns - not only as firepower, but also as facilities+ and resource cards. I don't see Mage deck without other supportive keyword cards, and Legend is the best.

Belive me, I have two different mage decks without unicorns and they both have good statistics.
You might lose some attack power but you gain more control over your hand (usually unicorns stay on hand waiting for a rare or the resources to be played) and, using auxilia, second chance and scepter of evolution instead of the unicorns, you can find easly Ice queen, the real engine of mage decks (and with a hand of all mages and no unicorns is really powerful)
NG_Beholder on 21:30, 3. Feb, 2012
Maybe. I'll probably try it.
By the way, that's another reason why Mage decks aren't as strong as could be - Mages are too Ice queen-reliant.
DPsycho on 23:33, 3. Feb, 2012
My Mage deck doesn't use Ice Queen. It's technically Mage/Burning, though, which has worked very well. (It does have Unicorns.)
Glizorkulblorkul on 18:19, 4. Feb, 2012
my main deck is obviously the strongest deck
dimitris on 22:04, 8. Feb, 2012
1. Undead (OP)
2. Burning (Phoenix is OP)
3. Nature
4. Beast
5. Unliving

well played 40 games with undead deck tonight balancing and droping cards until i was happy with result. Having 27-13 win ratio. While my old undead deck was negative side. Just few cards can change winratio alot.
NG_Beholder on 07:23, 9. Feb, 2012
Undead's defense and stock gain are only slightly worse than Holy's, but its firepower is much higher (a common with 16-20 attack for 7 gems to non-Holy enemy - OUCH... and uncommons are even better). Especially now, when Holy/Soldier with Zealots has only its reliability and not that ridiculous firepower of old.
So Undead is still very strong, and will remain until Crypt nerf.
And yes, any cardd can change the deck completely. When Lake fairy lost its persistance, it weakened Nature deck a lot. When Beasts got reworked Fire fox, Dire wolves, War wolf and new Thunderbird, they became pretty effective even without Frenzy and Call of the wilds.
