An option in settings to enable 'auto-next' so that if you are currently viewing a game that you cannot make a turn in when arcomage refreshes, it automagically goes to a game where you can play a turn if available

also, or, there should be an option for if YOU kill your opponent to skip the 'leave the game' screen and automagically go to the next game with available turns

The first suggestion makes sense and I believe it could be fairly easy to implement. However, I don't think the second suggestion is such a good idea. Game finish screen is important and should not be skipable.

Well the finish screen is there to be analyzed, but the winner of the game (and therefore the person who played the latest turn) obviously already has analyzed the situation and knows what the board will look like when the game is over because he/she was the one who ended the game with their play. If this was merely an option in settings I don't see how that would diminish anyone's enjoyment. I know for me, and I'm surely an outlier with my volume of play, it gets tedious, when I have 30 games to get through to, and especially on a touchpad laptop, to click finish game after I win.

I've said this before and I'll say it again since it's relevant to this discussion. It always annoys me when someone leaves a game not only without saying a word but also before my message of thanks for playing has gotten across. It's like some players can't wait to slam the door in their opponents' faces. Even those who don't know English often manage a simple "gg" before leaving, and I respect that.

messaging after the game is mostly useless, because you have no guarantee of your message reaching the recipient, cause - whileyou type he may as well leave.it's betterto converse while game is happening or not to converse at all.

there are workarounds, but it would require much change, and effort should be put elsewhere, not in this lowest priority mater

Simple courtesy is never "useless." ;)

I kind of agree with Damalycus. It's disheartening to type something to someone and see that they've left after you click "send". Also, I'm not clear how long I should wait for a response after typing 'gg' and before leaving - I don't want to leave my opponent in the lurch, but I also don't want it using up my available games. It's all very complicated. I'd rather just converse during the game, if we're going to converse.

To be fair, I'm not suggesting that the end of the match was the only time in which conversation was made. It would be silly to be bothered by someone failing to see that a message was sent after 40 rounds of silence.

On the other hand, I'm almost always the last to leave my games. I like to give my opponent a chance to converse, even if I have to wait weeks. Still, I would much rather they say "gg" after a week than immediately leave without a word. Good manners may be tedious, but they are still important.
